 Today’s featured website:

 Trouble-shoot Wednesday’s code

 Creating a menu with bullets

  • Basic bullet code review (unordered list)
  • CSS can style them to make them more useful and interesting!
  • Links make them functional (remember links?)
  • Let’s look at ways to create vertical and horizontal menus
  • Boom- menu!
  • Challenge- pick of the menus to add to your page. You will need the CSS added for the menu in your style sheet and the bullets added to whatever section you are placing the menu.

 Your first webpage project!

  • You are going to create a couple of webpages that link to each other (a home page and a sub-page or two). You can either create a webpage on a topic of your choice OR attempt to re-create an existing webpage that you really like (and you can try to make it look similar or different).
  • Step 1- come up with an idea today and let me know.
  • Step 2- begin to plan your site by sketching it out. This is includes the rough page layout (menu and sections), how many pages (2-3), and the content of each page. Do this on paper!
  • Step 3- we are all going to check out this helpful article about designing award-winning websites.
