Today’s goals:
- Complete Bootstrap feedback survey (and tutorial if necessary)
- Update your online portfolio
- Find an example of JavaScript on a webpage
Today’s featured site:
- http://www.marbiru.com/days/– You’re HOW old?
Finishing up with Bootstrap
- Please take this Bootstrap feedback survey
- Watch at least one of these Bootstrap tutorial videos (your choice). Quickly write down on paper or on your computer what you learned from the video.
Update Your Online Portfolio
- Things to potentially add: Harvest of the Month graphics, screenshots of your Bootstrap webpage (or other webpages you created this year).
- Log in here (user name is first name, password is whatever you chose; if you can’t log in, see me)
- Click Pages from the left-hand menu, then search for your name in the search box at the top right. When you find your name, your portfolio page should be right below it. Click edit to start adding content to the page.
- If you have work published here, you MUST include a link to your webpage in this directory! If you want work published here, please let me know.
When you finish:
- Find an example of JavaScript by going to a webpage you like and checking out its features. What is an example of JavaScript? You’re going to see if you can figure that out! Hint– look for some kind of interactivity or animation. View the page code to: #1, see if it is JavaScript that has made that feature you like possible and if so, #2, see if you can recognize anything in the JavaScript code (numbers? words?). Hint– JavaScript code will either be directly on the webpage or linked in a separate file that can you can click on and view.
- Let’s share our examples as a class
