Today’s goals:
- Finish your quote webpage (directions and helpful links here)
- Update your online portfolio
- Start thinking about a topic for your webpage project and look at pages created by former students
Today’s featured website:
- http://www.bluebulbprojects.com/MeasureOfThings/– Student-recommended site (thanks, Jeremy!).
Online Portfolio
- This is your chance to show off things you’ve created in this class. It’s up to you what you want to add to this page.
- Choose some things to add to your portfolio. What is your best work so far? Some ideas:
- Harvest of the Month graphics
- Wall of Inspiration quote and/or quote page you created with CSS in October
- Screen shots of any webpages we’ve done over the past couple of months (CSS gradient page, yesterday’s quote page, etc.)
- Any graphics you’ve made for me to use on Medford’s social media (Happy Holidays, Happy Thanksgiving, etc.)
- Please add a one sentence description of the work you add to your portfolio
- You will continually update your portfolio throughout the year
- Get started: log into the class website here (user name is your first name, password is whatever you set). Click Pages from the left-hand menu, then search for your name in the search box at the top right. When you find your name, your portfolio page should be right below it. Click edit to start adding content to the page.
Webpage project:
- Start thinking about topics for your first webpage project (coming up after vacation). What would you like to create 2-3 pages about?
- View projects created by previous students:
