CSS can do that

Class Friday, January 10, 2020

 Today’s Goals:

  • Finish your quote page with a blended background image and color using the background-blend-mode property (click here for directions )
  • When done:
    1. Try to figure out why we used position: relative; with our h1 (quote text) (hint: consider why we had to move our quote text and how we could move it; look at relative positioning again)
    2. Read this quick overview of CSS blend modes  that shows how to blend two background images together and how to create a cut-out text look by blending text and a background image
    3. See if you can find a website that uses CSS blend modes (background blend modes or mixed blend modes) and email it to me agoldsberry@medford.k12.ma.us
    4. Review the CSS spreadsheet  and write down any questions you have (we will review next week)
    5. Try the triangle challenge
