 Class Expectations

  • Effort is 60% of your grade. More than anything else, how hard you try each time you’re here will directly affect how well you do in this class AND will help you later on if you want to continue with web development. If you try hard, you will do very well. So, what does good effort look like? Should we add anything?
    • listen when teacher or others are talking
    • arrive on time to class
    • follow instructions from teacher and/or on class website
    • focus on task at hand and minimize distractions (your phone, non-class related websites)
    • ask questions when confused
    • engage in class (raise hand, help others, ask others for help)
    • attempt to complete goals of class for the day
    • try hard and enjoy and enjoy learning something new!
