 Today’s featured website:

Taking good care of your computer

  • You are responsible for this computer. If you wreck your computer, either physically or by downloading something that you did not have permission to download, then you will have nothing to use in class. If you don’t have a computer, you won’t be able to participate in class, which will result in an F. Please treat your computer with respect. I will make updates and fix things as we go along. I expect you to use the computer for class purposes only. I have seen students download viruses and malware when playing certain games or visiting certain sites; please be aware of what you’re doing and always ask me first.
  • The computer you have in front of you is not yours. It belongs to the school. You are not allowed to download games or anything else not related to our class work.
  • Do not download anything without asking me first- the only exceptions are files I give you and content for your webpage projects, such as images.
  • Remember, most of you share your computer with a student in another class. Your careless actions can affect that other person if you do something to the computer. Please treat these machines with respect and remember, they are not your personal devices. You are ONLY to use them for our class work.

 From last week- Thanksgiving-themed webpages

  • Finish your webpage if you still have to (directions here)
  • Let’s review the answer code. Make sure you have the correct code AND now is the time to make sure you understand all of the code, so ask questions!
