Posting Your Work Online

- All of you: We will look at our class directory on the school website and I will show you how to upload files there. Remember from September- how to get your website online
- All of you: Add screen shots of your webpage to your online portfolio:
- Log in here (user name is first name, password is whatever you chose; if you can’t log in, see me)
- Click Pages from the left-hand menu, then search for your name in the search box at the top right. When you find your name, your portfolio page should be right below it. Click edit to start adding content to the page.
- Please make sure you link your portfolio page to your other page (should say “My Portfolio” somewhere on your main page- like this)
Special projects when you’re all done!
- For everyone: Webpage project survey
- For everyone: Read about and view examples of CSS background blend modes (blending a background image and background color). Then see this article to look at examples of how to combine two background images with blend modes and how to combine a gradient with a background image (only read up to Mix Blend Mode Examples).
- For everyone: Find an example of a website using a background blend mode (either two background images blended together, a background image blended with a background color, or a background image blended with a gradient). Remember this site and/or write it down to share it with the class later.
- Optional: Create a poster for our bare wall: click here for instructions
