HTML Championships
- The HTML Championships brings together everything you’ve learned over the past few classes about HTML. Your goal is to finish the HTML Championships by following the instructions to build a simple webpage that displays the dates you have off from school this year. We will review it together when everyone has finished.

When You’re Done with Everything
- Consider doing some Extra Credit Challenges for the HTML Championships (see Google doc)
- Check your code against this answer key and make sure you have EVERYTHING. Check for typos such as extra or missing pointy brackets, HTML tags out of order, missing opening or closing tags, etc.
- Try this game-like HTML tutorial (you can skip the videos and conversation; please either turn off the sound or put in your headphones)
- Try some of these HTML and CSS challenges
- Check out the HTML examples and tags on W3Schools.com by selecting different things from the left-hand menu. Add some to the page you just created or simply try them out in the online code editor on the site.
October is National Cybersecurity Month
- About: This month we will spend some time learning internet and computer security basics and how to keep your devices and accounts safe.
- Your questions: Think about what you already know about computer security and online security, and what you would like to know. Topics include securing your devices (phones, tablets, computers, laptops) and protecting your online accounts (email, bank, personal information, social media, etc.). Think about what questions you have and submit them here .
