Allison Goldsberry- Ms. Goldsberry or Ms. G
I grew up in Medford and graduated from Medford High in 1999. I studied political science at Tufts University and spent a semester studying American politics in Washington, DC at American University. I received my Master’s degree in Technology, Innovation, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in May 2015. I started working at Medford High in December 2007 and became a certified teacher in 2010.
I’m the Webmaster for the Medford Public Schools/City of Medford and oversee both www.medfordpublicschools.organd City of Medford webpage. I built www.medfordpublicschools.org in 2009 and created a responsive website for the city in 2013. Both sites use WordPress. The school website is getting a makeover this year so it’s more mobile-friendly (all web design students will be involved in this project!).
I started a local news website, InsideMedford.com, in 2007 before coming to MHS and still maintain the site. It was my very first website and has been a tremendous learning experience for me.
Prior to working at MHS I worked for Senator John Kerry’s presidential campaign, wrote for the Medford Daily Mercury newspaper, and worked at Channel 4 news.
I still live in Medford and am a huge Red Sox and Patriots fan! In my spare time I like to run, do yoga and barre, cook, eat food, and hang out. I have been involved in several community organizations and activities, including Medford Health Matters, Medford Fit for Life Run/Walk, and the MHS Alumni Association. I was also one of the co-founders of the Medford Farmers Market in 2007, which might explain my enthusiasm for our Harvest of the Month taste test and graphic design challenge!
